Domestic Installation, Service & Repairs

Clemments Electrical Pty Ltd is committed to providing prompt, ethical and personal service from new home installation through to renovations, service and repairs.

Whether you are building from scratch or renovating an existing building, you can rely on us to offer practical advice, install quality fittings that comply with stringent Australian Standards and conduct final checks prior to power being connected.

You can trust that all the components have been installed by professional, licensed technicians who make it their priority to provide you with quality systems that function optimally from the first switch.

We offer a full range of electrical services for your home, including installation of smoke alarms, TV antennas, air-conditioning units, ceiling fans, lighting and switchboard upgrades.

Have you built a new shed or have an investment property?

We cater to all residential premises, and are capable and qualified to handle smaller projects, such as installing phone and data cabling, repairing appliances, fault-finding and advice, through to large projects, such as installing 3-phase energy systems.

Even if your home has a safety switch installed, one may not be enough to protect you from electric shock. A safety switch only protects you if it’s on that circuit. You should consider having safety switches installed on all circuits in your home, including power points, lights, air conditioning, oven, hot water and pool equipment circuits, even if they are on a separate tariff.

Owners of domestic rental accommodation in Queensland must have a safety switch installed in their rental properties if one is not fitted. If your rental property does not have a safety switch installed you may get fines of up to $1,500.

Call us to ensure that your family, or your legal obligations to your tenant, are fulfilled.

New QLD laws have come into effect from January 1 2017 that apply to smoke detectors in new domestic dwellings, rental properties, and properties that are undergoing substantial renovations.

Creating safer homes and one unified smoke alarm system means that you will be more rapidly alerted to the presence of a fire in your home.   For more information, please download the Qld Fire and Emergency Services Brochure on the new legislation click here to download.
